Those organizations provide their own privacy notices.

Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Services, we and our service providers may automatically collect information such as your Internet Protocol address, browser and device type, operating system, referring and exit pages, pages viewed, links clicked, approximate location derived from an IP address, dates and times of visits, and interactions with website features or marketing campaigns. We may collect this information through cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, server logs, and similar technologies.

Information From Other Sources

We may receive information from referral partners, insurance carriers, general agencies, enrollment or quoting platforms, scheduling and communication providers, customer relationship management systems, advertising platforms, and other sources when permitted by law. We may combine that information with information collected through the Services.

2. How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information to:

  • respond to inquiries and provide requested information;
  • review needs, prepare estimates, compare coverage options, and assist with insurance applications, enrollment, servicing, and renewals;
  • schedule appointments and send confirmations or reminders;
  • communicate by email, telephone, or text message as permitted by law and according to your choices;
  • operate, maintain, personalize, troubleshoot, and improve the Services;
  • measure website performance, understand how visitors use the Services, and evaluate marketing campaigns;
  • protect the security and integrity of our systems, detect fraud or misuse, and enforce our agreements;
  • maintain business and insurance records;
  • comply with licensing, regulatory, legal, tax, audit, and recordkeeping obligations; and
  • establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

3. How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Insurance and enrollment organizations: insurance carriers, general agencies, benefits administrators, quoting or enrollment platforms, government marketplaces, and other organizations involved in evaluating, quoting, issuing, enrolling in, or servicing coverage you request.
  • Service providers: companies that provide website hosting, form processing, analytics, customer relationship management, email, telephone, text messaging, scheduling, cloud storage, security, technical support, and similar services on our behalf.
  • Analytics and advertising partners: providers that help us measure website use, attribute advertising, or deliver and evaluate advertising. Depending on the technology used and the law that applies, disclosures of online identifiers and browsing activity to these partners may be considered a "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising," even when no money is exchanged.
  • Professional advisers: attorneys, accountants, auditors, compliance consultants, and other advisers who are subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.
  • Government and legal recipients: regulators, licensing authorities, courts, law enforcement, or other parties when disclosure is required or permitted by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or property.
  • Business transaction recipients: parties involved in a proposed or completed merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or transfer of all or part of our business, subject to appropriate protections.
  • Other recipients at your direction: persons or organizations you ask us to contact or with whom you authorize us to share information.

We do not sell nonpublic personal financial or health information for money. We do not intentionally disclose information entered into insurance quote or application forms to analytics or advertising providers for their own marketing purposes. We may disclose online identifiers and browsing activity through analytics or advertising technologies as described above.

4. Insurance and Health Information

Information collected in connection with an insurance inquiry, application, policy, or service request may be subject to federal and state insurance-privacy requirements. We use and disclose nonpublic personal financial and health information only as permitted by applicable law, as authorized by you, or as reasonably necessary to provide the insurance-related services you request. A carrier, marketplace, or other insurance organization may provide a separate privacy notice or authorization that governs information in its possession. If a transaction-specific privacy notice conflicts with this website Privacy Policy, the more specific notice controls for that transaction.

The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act ("HIPAA") applies only to covered entities and their business associates. This website Privacy Policy is not a HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices and does not create HIPAA rights where HIPAA does not apply. Regardless of whether particular information is subject to HIPAA, we seek to handle health-related information with appropriate care and in accordance with applicable law.

5. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

Our website may use essential, functional, analytics, and advertising cookies or similar technologies. These technologies may be provided by Squarespace and services such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Meta Pixel. They can help the website function, remember preferences, measure traffic and conversions, understand visitor interactions, and evaluate or personalize advertising.

You can control many cookies through your browser settings and, when displayed, our cookie preferences tool. Blocking some cookies may affect website functionality. You can also review industry opt-out tools offered by the Digital Advertising Alliance and Network Advertising Initiative. Device and browser controls apply only to the browser or device on which they are set and may need to be renewed if cookies are cleared.

Do Not Track and Universal Opt-Out Signals

Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" signals. Because no uniform standard governs those signals, our website does not currently respond to them. Other parties may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites when their technologies are present on our Services. If applicable law requires us to recognize a legally valid universal opt-out mechanism, such as the Global Privacy Control, we will process it as required. You may also submit an applicable privacy request using the contact information below.

6. Email, Telephone, and Text Communications

Email

We may send service-related emails and, where permitted, marketing emails. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message or contacting us. Even after opting out of marketing, we may send nonmarketing communications about an inquiry, appointment, application, policy, or transaction.

Telephone Calls and Text Messages

If you separately provide the required consent, Sawyer Health Solutions may send recurring calls or text messages, including messages sent using automated technology or an artificial or prerecorded voice, about your inquiry, requested services, appointments, or marketing offers. Message frequency varies. Consent to marketing calls or texts is not a condition of purchasing any property, goods, or services. Message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP or call (239) 677-9877. We will honor legally valid revocation requests made through a reasonable method as required by applicable law. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared with service providers that support message delivery, customer service, or other essential operations. Text-message originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide services, maintain insurance and business records, comply with legal and regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect against fraud or security incidents. Retention periods vary based on the type of information, the relationship involved, carrier or contractual requirements, and applicable law. When information is no longer required, we may delete, deidentify, or securely dispose of it.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You should use care when sending sensitive information online and should submit only information requested through the appropriate form or secure process. If a data incident triggers notification obligations, we will provide notice as required by applicable law.

9. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to request that we:

  • confirm whether we process your personal information;
  • provide access to or a copy of certain personal information;
  • correct inaccurate personal information;
  • delete certain personal information;
  • provide certain information in a portable format;
  • opt you out of the sale or sharing of personal information, targeted advertising, or certain profiling;
  • limit or withdraw consent for certain uses of sensitive personal information; or
  • review an appeal if we deny an eligible request.

You may submit a request by emailing contact@sawyerhealthsolutions.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" or by calling (239) 677-9877. Please describe your request and provide enough information for us to identify relevant records. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization and identity verification.

We will respond within the time required by applicable law. Certain information may be exempt from a request, including information we must retain for legal, regulatory, security, fraud-prevention, insurance-servicing, or recordkeeping purposes. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

10. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online directly from children under 13. Individuals under 18 should not submit information through the Services without the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us improperly, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

11. Third-Party Websites and Services

The Services may contain links to third-party websites or integrate third-party tools. We do not control those third parties or their privacy practices. Review the privacy notice of any third-party website or service before providing information. The inclusion of a link does not mean that Sawyer Health Solutions is responsible for the third party's content, security, or privacy practices.

12. United States Operations

Sawyer Health Solutions provides insurance-related services in the United States. If you access the Services from another country, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, services, or legal obligations. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective date above. If a change materially affects how we use information already collected, we will provide any additional notice or obtain any consent required by law.
